The involuntary decision is an immediate decision that you react to rather than think about such as when a car pulls out in front of you. In this type of decision, you rely on experience, training and/or instinct. If you are reading this article, then you have experienced this type of decision and have successfully decided under the most intense circumstances.

The voluntary decision is where you have time and options to decide. Generally, people approach these decisions in one of three ways.
